Parenting/caregiving and navigating adulthood both come with unique challenges. Today’s world can feel overwhelming—for parents/caregivers working to support their children, and for adults facing the uncertainty of life transitions. Therapy can be a powerful space to build clarity, resilience, and connection.

 

My role as a therapist is to offer a safe and supportive environment where you can explore challenges, develop skills, and create meaningful change. I believe in the healing power of connection and see therapy as a collaborative process. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered approaches, and mindfulness I help clients identify strengths, practice new tools, and establish realistic, attainable goals.

In my work with parents/caregivers, I provide coaching and guidance to strengthen family relationships, improve communication, and support children’s development while honoring the stressors and demands of raising children today. With emerging adults & adults, I focus on life transitions, helping clients manage anxiety, depression, identity shifts, and the complexities of school, career, and relationships through personal growth, self-awareness and mindfulness.

I am a Clinical Social Work Associate in the state of Washington. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work (2008) from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Pacific Union College. My professional background spans years of working with individuals, and children and families as a social worker, teacher and therapist.  My experience gives me a deep understanding of the challenges individuals and families face and the resilience they can build and growth they can experience.
